Education

Whilst we do not provide formal education (not dual registered as a school), we understand the importance of getting children and young people into education and supporting them to remain engaged. We may consider placements for children and young people with special needs.

If an education provision is yet to be identified, or as an additional provision, staff can engage the child and young person in educational-based activities. Further more tutoring and a delivery of AQA unit award scheme can be considered. . This will only ever be used as an interim measure if agreed within a young person’s Care Plan, to engage the child and young person while the team works with the Local Authority to identify a suitable school provision. Fees for this service are additional to placement fees.
